Must be 60 years of age or older

Diagnosis

Patients diagnosed with Dementia at a medical institution (including one or more of the disease codes F00-F03 and G30)

Treatment

Refer to the guidelines by the city of Seoul

Income

Below 120% of the standard median income

Level and scope of support

Level of support

Health insurance deductible of the current month up to KRW 30,000 per month (KRW 360,000 annually)

Scope of support

Deductible of the insurance payment for the medicine prescribed when treated for dementia

Support process

Application for dementia treatment and management expense assistance filled out at the Guro-gu Dementia Support Center and submitted along with the required documents

Required documents

• Application for dementia treatment expense assistance (provided at Guro-gu Dementia Support Center)
• Copy of medical care card or health insurance card
• Dementia diagnosis result report
• Copy of receipt of health insurance payment, salary statement including history of health insurance payments, payment confirmation or any proof by which health insurance fees can be verified
