Elementary, middle, and high school entrance and transfer

Admission to elementary schools

  • School attendance notice received from the residential community center in December
    ※ Foreign residents need to inquire at the Community Center (Dong) in their residence to prepare evidential documents
  • Attendance at the preliminary meeting date at the end of January or early February (with school notice)
  • Attending the entrance ceremony in early March

Admission to middle schools

  • Seoul Southern District Office of Education

Admission to high schools

  • Refer to the portal site for high school admissions

  • Elementary school
    • move-in report → assigned to an elementary school at a community center → submit a confirmation of moving in to the school
