Health Examination for Newlyweds

Performing health examinations prior to marriage for newlyweds to prevent genetic diseases or congenital disorders and to promote healthy pregnancy and childcare, protecting the health of the couple and resulting in happiness in pregnancy and childbirth

Examination recipients

  • Newlyweds or residents preparing for pregnancy in the jurisdiction (those with residence in Guro-gu as shown on resident registration)
  • Examination fee: No charge

Required documents

ID or copy of resident registration showing residence in Guro-gu

Details of health examination

  • Basic blood test
  • Liver function test, hepatitis B test, syphilis test, AIDS test, fasting blood sugar
  • Hemoglobin, platelet
  • Rubella test (women only)
  • Chest x-ray test
  • Urine test
  • Hours: Examination available 2nd Saturday of every month, 09:00-12:00 (no examinations if it is a public holiday)
