The Guro Annual Statistical Report contains various data such as the history of Guro, land, population, economy, social security, education, culture, public finance, and public administration. 2. When there is no need to distinguish Guro from other local governments, the name Guro is admitted throughout the report. 3. All data are measured as of December 31, 2009. However, education data are based on April 1, 2009, while population and housing data conducted by Korea Statistics are based on November 1, 2005. 4. Sources of materials and notes are described below each table. When sources are not described, they come from Guro and various branches under Guro. 5. Although data are intended to cover the period between 2004 and 2009, some items or indicators either modified or added are recorded only in years when data are available. 6. Because numbers were rounded up, the sum total can disagree with subtotals. 7. Numbers that were different from those in previous reports were corrected. 8.
